From the established operators behind Devon Cafe, Bistro Nido is an intimate 40-seat restaurant concept
in the heart of Sydney CBD. Born of the team’s passion for artisanal produce and hospitality, Bistro Nido marries a heavily European inspired menu with a touch of Japanese influence throughout.
‘Nido’ is Japanese for ‘twice cooked’, which is meant to impart the idea of taking the extra step in the process, in ensuring the pursuit of excellence and quality is a constant.
Our concept is led by the idea of “Cuisine du marche” - which literally means “cooking from the market”. The Cuisine direction is honesty, simplicity and is firmly directed by the season’s produce; led by our Executive Chef, Zacharay Tan and executive pastry chef Markus Andrew. Our menu is based on European bistro classics while keeping it playful and lighter with hints of Japanese techniques and ingredients.
The dishes are meant for sharing, just the way we like to eat. We are committed to offering an unforgettable dining experience to our guests, with generous service in a cosy, inviting atmosphere. We are a small bistro, so our style of service will be energetic, and we will always aim to turn tables throughout each service, both lunch and dinner. However, we never want that to make a guest feel rushed or unwelcome – each experience should be memorable for all who chose to dine with us.
Lunch: Fri - Sun 12pm - 5pm
Dinner: Wed - Sat 5:30pm - 10pm
